A note from our co-founder, Carina Hamel. I am fairly new to cycling. I always said that I would never race bikes because it was the one sport where I hadn’t tried to be competitive before, and I wanted to keep it that way. I love riding and I am so happy to have it as part of my life. On this Earth Day, we are donating $5 from each bottle sold to Pure Earth, a non-profit seeking to reduce childhood exposure to lead and mercury worldwide. Why is this important? Nearly 1 in 3 children have blood lead levels at or above 5 micrograms per deciliter, the CDC's current level of concern.
