Gravity Flow Lids

There is a smile in every adventure, no matter how far the journey

We love to be outside and to keep our bodies healthy. To us, there is nothing more peaceful than breathing in cold crisp air on an afternoon ski or seeing the morning light glimmer through the trees on a ride or run before work. Our sports keep our minds clear, our bodies strong and our friendships deep.

In starting Bivo, we sought to design a stainless steel performance water bottle with a flow rate that could keep up with our hydration needs. No chugging, no air, no mold, just a clean path of water delivered with ease.

To us, and we hope to you, this is more than a bottle … it is a chance to #sweatlessplastic

- Carina Hamel & Robby Ringer (founders of Bivo)

Serious fun. Less waste.

We are inspired by tales full of raw emotion that drive you and exist to fuel more smiles for people and the planet. We design and engineer specialized, performance solutions that are beautiful, healthy, and functional.

Smarter, healthier performance.

We will always pursue sophisticated ways to perform smarter, healthier and with a smile. As an active group of skiers, runners, cyclists, and designers we love to continually push ourselves … simply for the joy of it. This passion flows through to how we design – with determination and belief that what we are creating is good for us and good for the world.

Celebrate raw emotions.

Whether on a hard run or an after dinner joyride, we want to celebrate the smiles, the tears, the sense of calm, and the effort. The emotions we experience doing the activities we love is what keep our minds clear and our bodies moving.

We are setting aside a portion of our profits to create the Bivo Fund, which will be allocated to charities that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A note from our co-founder, Carina Hamel. I am fairly new to cycling. I always said that I would never race bikes because it was the one sport where I hadn’t tried to be competitive before, and I wanted to keep it that way. I love riding and I am so happy to have it as part of my life. But wow, is it an intimidating sport!
Let's circle back, let's get personal. Carina and I think the timing is right to circle back to the beginning, to restart the conversation, to get personal, to share our stories, and to dive deep into who we are and what makes us tick at Bivo.
On this Earth Day, we are donating $5 from each bottle sold to Pure Earth, a non-profit seeking to reduce childhood exposure to lead and mercury worldwide. Why is this important? Nearly 1 in 3 children have blood lead levels at or above 5 micrograms per deciliter, the CDC's current level of concern.
