Thank You!

Back in March, we had professional nordic skier, Ben Ogden, write a guest story on our site. After we published that piece, we realized having guests come and tell their stories, voice their opinions and share their missions would be a really fun addition to the Bivo site. Without planning for it, Quench’d, weekly stories for cyclists, was born. I was super nervous about it. A whole additional newsletter each week?! Would our customers really want that? Could we actually find people to write stories? We push ourselves to test new ideas and to go with our guts. This one just FELT like Bivo.

I wanted to write a personal thank you for being here each week. You are SERIOUSLY showing up. We have received incredible feedback from you on the stories that have been told through Quench’d, Thirstday and our newest Founders’ Series. Many of these stories have brought me to tears, fired me up and pushed me in new ways, and from the feedback we have received, it seems you feel the same.

We love how much you love our Thursday Bivo related stories and tips like How to Clean a Bivo, or Best Cage Fit and some super close to our heart topics such as information on our chemical testing process and why microplastics are bad. And, because we love Vermont, where you can find the best mountain biking in our beautiful green mountain state we are proud to call home. Your emails into our customer service account bring us joy - you help us keep these stories being told and give us great ideas for what you’d all like to read.

Thanks to the person who made a donation to support Molly Peter’s efforts to make equal distance racing possible. Her post was the first that really showed me the power of Quench’d - you all loved that one! Thanks to the coaches who read the article by Mary Gunesch on coaching Neurodiverse athletes and implemented some of her recommendations. Thanks for all your emails telling us to keep up the good work - that truly matters to all of us at Bivo.

We are all excited for 2025 and the stories to come. Thanks again, for always showing up. We love the cycling community and being engaged with all of you

Carina and the entire Bivo team

PS - Have a story idea? Or questions about Bivo or cycling in general? Reach out! We love hearing from you.

I’m a native Vt’r having lived most of my adult life in Essex. Now retired and living in SW Florida while also doing some RV’ing during the summer months. I read about your Bivo water bottle in a recent Bicycling magazine and am looking forward to receiving my order for two. I didn’t realize you are a Vt company until I saw the order acknowledgement, that’s cool, I used to be a dedicated runner (thus the gmail address), but have moved over to road and trail biking in the last few years. Looking forward to your newsletters.
