An InFLOduction: Meet Our Friend Florian!

July 30th, 2026 | by Caitlin Boyarsky

If you’ve been following along on our Instagram, you may have noticed we’ve been in Europe quite a bit this year. Our fearless leaders Carina and Robby recently returned to our hometown of Richmond, VT after meeting up with some of our people across the pond. They spent most of July traveling in Europe. Expanding our network in places like Germany, France, and Spain.

Team member Lily also spent some time in Europe last month. Joining in on some fun events including a bike packing trip, (The Weekender), through Germany. Lily spent her days biking, crossing rivers, and exploring the beautiful countryside.

When asking them what their favorite parts of their trips were, the answer was clear: finally meeting our sales rep manager Florian in person. Or as he’s more well known: Flo. In case we weren’t saying the word ‘flow’ enough around the office, now we’re saying it in an entirely new way. And hey, we’re not complaining.

Flo has been a crucial addition to our team during our move to Europe. Helping us break into the European market through retailer and rep relationships. Both Lily and Carina and Robby had the pleasure of finally meeting Flo last month in Germany. They even had the chance to go for a spin on some of the local bike trails. Rumor has it, German bike trails are gnarly. I’m talking about white knuckling over a jump, through a giant fallen tree, just to paint a picture.

We’d love you all to meet Flo too, so we’re taking this time to formally introduce him to you all. An inFLOduction if you will ;)

Florian (Flo) Rheimier is based in Konstanz, Germany working alongside other amazing people (shoutout Lars and Manu!) Coincidentally, he has amazing hair, or 'flow' – noticing a trend? It's clear when you meet him that he has a very cool, laidback vibe about him. Perhaps due to the many years he spent as a professional snowboarder. I believe the technical term here would be that he has major 'steeze'.

“It was so fun to meet Flo in person and jump into the Konstanz way of life. We were able to have some in-person meetings together, jump into the lake on a hot day, and go for a lunch MTB ride. The trails they brought me on reminded me of Vermont trails: good brown dirt, some techy routes, and steep climbs. I got to watch Flo & Manu hit the jumps in front of me, which I either rolled over or avoided entirely. We also got to visit a local retailer that carries Bivo, it is always fun to see Bivo in person, especially on a different continent!” - Lily

We don't speak the language, so hopefully all good things...kidding! But for real, I've been using google translate so much these past few months, it feels like I'm back in my high school French class. It’s surreal to see Bivo so far away from home, but we couldn't be more excited for what's to come. And as always, huge shoutout to Flo and his team for all of the great work they've been doing for us in Europe.

Cheers,

Bivo Team
