Job Title: Event Specialist

Location: Richmond, VT

Schedule: Full-time

Salary Range: $50K-$55K

Benefits: 401K w/ match, healthcare, dental, vision

Reports to: Brand Activation Lead

Start Date: February 1, 2026

About Bivo:

Bivo is a performance product company that cares deeply about the impact of raw materials on humans and humanity. Our first products are sophisticated metal water bottles for cyclists, with a flow rate fit for astronauts ... (No seriously, our engineer worked for NASA).

Located in the heart of Richmond, VT, access to walking, running and mountain bike trails will be just minutes out the door. Plus, we make a mean cup of coffee.

Overview:

We’re looking for an Events Specialist to join our team! This full-time role (starting February 1, 2026) will be based in Richmond, VT when not traveling and will play a key part in representing Bivo at cycling events across the country. The ideal candidate is excited to be on the road, connect with athletes and retailers, and help grow the incredible community around Bivo.

Responsibilities:

- Hit the road! Your job will be focused on events across the country and a majority of your time will be focused on these events. Events will occur year-round, but the busy season is April - October.

- Support the logistics, planning, and staffing for events Bivo attends.

- Inventory planning and management for events - make sure we have enough bottles at each event!

- Plan events calendar in conjunction with the marketing team and create installations and activations with them to draw attention to the booth.

- Be ready to sell bottles and represent the Bivo brand. We aim to be inclusive, fun and a positive addition to the community.

- Build out and maintain relationships with a network of onsite event support / contractors.

- Network with other brands and our ambassadors/athletes at events and work with the marketing team on managing the ambassador program.

- Coordinate impactful trips by identifying other events to join in on, planning pop ups or other activations, and connecting with people.

- Work with retailers along the route to set up group rides, demo in store, meet with retail staff, etc.

- Report back to the marketing team about each event in order to maintain an annual list of must-hits.

- Help support and execute Bivo’s local events! We have hosted a Summer Bash, a film screening, and plan to host more events in the future.

Qualifications:

- Must be willing and able to travel and drive long distances. Vermont is far from the rest of the country! Large chunks of time will be taken on the road.

- Ability to communicate effectively in person with customers and athletes.

- A general love of riding bikes. Participation in group rides, understanding of the bike industry and ability to communicate effectively with the cycling industry is a must.

- Willingness to work weekends (normal 2 days off/week will be taken during the work week to accommodate this).

- Ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments in an ever-changing environment. Learn about a fun new event you think we should attend? Pivot when possible and make it happen!

- Must be able to be on foot for long-periods of time and lift more than 50 lbs.

- An eye for detail. Our brand is represented at each event and the booth must look professional, fun and organized.

- Bivo is a start up and we like to experiment, explore and pivot. A willingness to adapt and an appetite for a start-up environment is essential.

- A self-starter and problem solver with exceptional execution and follow through.

- We are a small team and encourage interaction across a variety of roles. All ideas are welcome and being a positive team player is a must.

Why Bivo?

We’re a small, fast-moving team passionate about performance, sustainability, and doing things differently. If you’re excited to be part of a growing company with a mission, and like to have fun along the way, we’d love to meet you.
