Introducing: Capri!

May 30th, 2024 | by Keaton Smith

We are so excited to share our brand new summer color: Capri! Plus, for the first time ever, this bottle comes with a colorful nozzle, not just black.

The Bivo team has been enjoying these bottles for a few weeks. Last week, Bivo team members Charlotte and Sam went with their group of friends to Martha's Vineyard for a long weekend trip, and they brought a handful of Capri bottles along with them to enjoy at the beach and as a running water bottle for beach runs.

Their trip was a huge success, complete with lots of beachside bike rides, grilling, tandem biking to lunch, and cooking paella in a pit at the beach. The official paella report was that it had "less sand in it than last year," which sounded...good? Maybe?

Personally, I've been loving my new Capri bottle because it perfectly matches the teal/blue accents on my mountain bike.

It's my new favorite bottle to take on the trails. Just a few weeks ago, I took it for a spin at Saxon Hill and had a blast. It was my first ride at Saxon of the year, and it was clear that the trail crews had been working hard because it was in amazing shape (shoutout to Vermont Mountain Biking Association and Fellowship of the Wheel, the chapter that takes care of Saxon Hill. Read all about that crew here)

All of us at Bivo hope you all enjoy this brand new color to celebrate summer, whether that means riding hard on your local trails or a trip to the beach with your friends and family.

Last Thursday, we hosted our annual party - The Bivo Bash - at Cochran's Ski Area, just a couple of miles from our home base in Richmond, Vermont. The Bash was filled with good friends, good food and drink, and fun outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy. We're still buzzing with excitement from the night.

James Recycling is a Portland-based nonprofit and independent recycler that accepts hard-to-recycle items which aren't allowed in standard city curbside bins. Founded by James Harris, a young man with autism, the organization empowers adults with developmental differences by employing them in meaningful recycling operations.

New colors just dropped. And they're our summer-iest yet, because summer isn't over yet!
